FAQ Your Way to Marketing Success

I can depend on The Week arriving in my mailbox every week. This magazine educates you about top stories from around the world.

One section I enjoy is called Briefing. It’s a page with data on a specific topic. Drugs, war, and other subjects are dissected in an educational format. The Unfriendly Skies is August 10th’s topic. It discusses why many flights are delayed or cancelled and why this problem will continue in the future.

The page is laid out in a Q&A format with questions that are most likely asked about the topic.

Last year I wrote about adding Q&As or FAQs (frequently-asked questions) to your Web site or blog, and I still believe that such a page is beneficial for marketing.

There are questions that prospects and clients frequently ask by phone, in person, through Email, or during speaking engagements. Those questions and your responses craft a ready-made page that creates a comfort zone for people who are thinking of buying from you.

Start with three top questions about your products or services. Then add more in time. Include the content on your Web site, and create a small brochure to send by mail with the same information.

You’ll soon hear clients tell you how much they depend on your expertise the same way I depend on receiving The Week for new ideas from around the world.
