Keeping Things On Track, Even While in Surgery
What if, after undergoing surgery, you return to your office the next day or week and don’t know where to start due to the temporary derailment?
This question goes beyond “5 Things to Do When You’re Sick and Work Alone,” which is based on non-hospital cold, flu, or “my stomach hurts today” symptoms.
Yesterday, I lay horizontally on a medical stretcher, wheeled into surgery for an emergency procedure. Some surgeries progress so well now that you’re released the same day. That’s what happened to me.
I feel great, not just physically, but also mentally because there’s no need to wonder what to do when I return to the office.
I’d be in a jam without my Business Development Plan book. It’s a three-inch binder currently hosting nine tabs and action goals and objectives for ventures I’m either working on now or plan to launch.
The tabs include:
Today, I can choose from any of these tabs and pick up on my business with no brain strain.
Have you set up this easy-to-create, valuable tool for yourself? The components are: 1) as close as a box that holds miscellaneous office items in your basement or attic, or 2) available brand new at any office supply store.
It’s wonderful to return from an emergency and transition smoothly to the assignments I look forward to completing.

First, how are you feeling?
Second, you’ve touched upon something that, frankly, scares me as a sole proprietor. I have health insurance through my wife, so I don’t worry about having to go into the hospital for that reason, but if I did have to go into the hospital that shuts down the revenue stream, which is extremely scary. Are you covered in that fashion?
Mitch, I’m feeling very good and stronger every day.
I’m the same as you regarding health insurance, covering through my spouse’s policy.
Speaking fees are a big part of my revenue, but the stream doesn’t end there. I’ve studied Internet affiliate marketing extensively throughout the years and gain a huge stream through it.
So, I am covered as money is made, as the saying goes, while I sleep, travel, recuperate, etc.
Perhaps you have a pet project or hobby to share online that will help to increase your affiliate revenue streams.
