Creating an Online Customer Contact Form

Encouraging potential customers to contact you is as easy as adding a form to your Web site's "Contact Us" page. It's a quick upgrade that can increase your site's visitor-to-client sales ratio.

Prospects, whether individuals or corporate buyers, have little time to compose a complete Email, look for the Email link on your site, and hit the "send" button.

Consider streamlining the process by adding a contact page outfitted with the following information for each visitor to complete.

*Name

*Company name (if applicable)

*City and state

*Telephone number

*Email address

*Best method for contact (telephone, Email, Skype, etc.)

*How the person found your site (search engine, newspaper ad, etc.)

*Reason for contact (questions, problems, praise, etc.)

*What product or service is required/requested (list several products/services)

*When is the product or service needed (immediately, within six months, etc.)

Design your contact form with check boxes and pre-assigned responses rather than blank lines. The easier the process, the closer you get to completing the sale.
